The Ministry of Economic Development invites on Thursday 5 May at 15-hour public talk Beatriz de Moura, founder and director of Tusquets Editores will offer on "Past, present and future of independent publishing."
The talk is open and free and will be held in the Auditorium of the Metropolitan Design Center, Algarrobo 1041, Barracks.
Beatriz de Moura was born in Rio de Janeiro, the daughter of Brazilian diplomat. After working in various editorial in 1968, decided to organize a new publisher, along with architect Oscar Tusquets: Tusquets Editores.
The editorial began operations in 1969 with two collections, and notebooks Notebooks Marginal negligible. Your editorial was published in English, lots of works, including those of Ernst Jünger, Milan Kundera and EM Cioran.
